STEPHEN FOREHT
STEPHEN FOREHT (Chair) has been the Chair of the Board since 2007. He is the owner and managing member of Foreht Associates, LLP with a JD from New York Law School. Foreht is a Member of the American Bar Association (forum committee on entertainment and sports industries), the New York State Bar Association (section on entertainment arts and sports law), the New York County Lawyers Association (special committee communications and entertainment law since 1990), the Association of Bar of City of New York, and Volunteer Lawyers For The Arts.
MALINI SINGH MCDONALD (Co-Chair), a native New Yorker, received her BA in English and Theatre at Baruch College where she also received her MPA. She received her MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School where her focus was Directing. Malini is also the founder of Theatre Beyond Broadway which provides a platform to promote and support independent artists beyond the bright lights of Broadway. She has collaborated with The Anthropologists, Broadway Artists Connection, Non-Disposable Productions, NPTC and Mind the Art Entertainment. Malini received the Woman of Distinction Award for her contribution to Media, Arts and Culture from the City of New York.
Christine souders
Christine Souders (Treasurer) recently retired as the head of the admission and financial aid office at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She has spent her career working in higher education administration at large public and Ivy League universities as well as at a small German liberal arts and sciences university. She has extensive experience in both undergraduate and graduate admissions, student marketing and recruitment, scholarships and financial aid, international student affairs and career services. She studies piano with Ukrainian-American pianist, Anna Shelest and does volunteer work with the New Perspectives Theatre Company.

Carol heller
CAROL HELLER (Member) is the Director of Partner Management and Development at the Jewish Community Council where she cultivates job creation relating to internship and workforce development programs tailored to meet the needs of low-income individuals and young people. Prior to this position she had extensive experience in Social Enterprise, Program Management and Sales and Marketing. Heller returned to the NPTC in 2021 after serving previously from 2010 to 2013. She holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and an M.A. in Education from Teachers College/Columbia University.
